Myth 1

Doing "video based" education won't be successful, because everyone is different and needs are different.

True to a point, BUT many of my clients receive the same step-by-step framework day in and day out because their impairments are all focused on the same 4 goals of myofunctional education.  Some people DO require extra help, and those people may be best served by a different delivery.  BUT...remember, we are talking about people with barriers here.  The people who this program is designed for are those with a barrier that is keeping them from pursuing other avenues...and we want to serve those people.

Keep in mind that this "video based" education I speak of is not the "piecemeal" that is available on places like Youtube.  This program is a complete education series.

Myth 2

You can't tell how much education someone needs until they get started.

True to a point.  Do you ever know how much help you need in math, until you are knee deep in the class?  Again, going back to that step-by-step framework. Every single one of my clients has a detailed, organized, laid-out plan from the get-go.  Yes, this changes all the time, but regardless, the steps will always be building on the piece taught before it.  This program encompasses the most intense, most important 12 lessons of what I teach daily with clients.  This is going to be a win for most people.  If you have a complicated story or health history, or all the funds and time in the world, I recommend the "traditional" route. This program is not meant to serve those folks. Remember, that some myofunctional education is far better than none at all.  This program isn't intended for those who have no barriers to entry.  Let those people do their thing and you do yours!  With your dedication and hard work, you can have amazing results.

Myth 3

All the "other people" tell me that I need ortho, or expansion or a sleep study before starting.

This may or may not be true.  Everyone has their own agenda.  There are times when someone does need some of those items. I wholeheartedly agree that you don't want to ignore the advice.  But...remember who this program is serving.  Everyone can benefit from the 4 goals of myofunctional education.  If you are in a situation where you can see a specialist for expansion or orthodontic treatment, I highly encourage it. Remember, you can use this education series in addition to following the advice of your trusted professional.  This program is for those folks who need some education and don't have the ability at this time to seek out those specialists, so he or she would rather start with this program.
